"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I can't really use GIMP myself. But a lot of the techniques I use are doable with GIMP too, just a bit differently. Don't ask me how though, but I'm sure others who do use GIMP should be able to help you.
Thank you. You see, i'm a Begin in GFX designing. And I like to learn. Currently, I have Gimp but as for Photoshop, i have it as well. Photoshop 2 or 3, if i re-call right. I haven't installed it still. XD
